Goal
Build a labyrinth that connects the exits with a single winding path.
Placing hedges
Each segment between two dots has three possible states.
Click or tap a segment to cycle: undecided → hedge → removed. (With a two-button mouse, right-click cycles in reverse.) A double-click or double-tap removes an undecided segment. Press and hold to remove a segment from any state.
The rules
The number on a dot tells how many hedges meet at that dot.
Every square is either on the path—bounded by two openings and two hedges—or walled off by hedges on all four sides.
The colors track your progress: the walking path is brown stone, and dark green squares are walled-off inaccessible regions. A red dot or a red square indicates an error.
The puzzle is solved when the hedges bound one continuous path joining the exits—no loops, no dead ends, every clue satisfied. Every line must be a hedge or be removed—no thin undecided lines may remain. With Early finish enabled in Preferences, the game instead ends as soon as your hedges fully bound the path.
A solved 5×5 labyrinth.
Why Daedalus' Labyrinth?
Daedalus was the legendary builder of the Labyrinth of Crete. Here, you're not Theseus trying to escape—you're Daedalus himself, shaping the maze one hedge at a time.
